I studied Iyengar under Patricia Walden and mentored by Renee LeBlanc in Boston. I have completed specialty trainings with Laughing Lotus’s Dana Flynn, and hold certifications in pre/post natal yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, chakra yoga…the list goes on… I am always a student first. I have led Yoga Teacher Training and lead yoga retreats around the globe.

Who/what influences your teaching and practice currently?

I will always be grateful for every teacher who has opened the door of yoga and its teachings to me. Today I am currently inspired by nature and balance. I have been tuning into the rhythms of the seasons, the moon, the tides, and the winds, to create sequences to help create more balance and harmony both in the body and in connection to the world around us.

How do you apply yoga practice to your every day life?

Yoga is connection and presence. I strive to live a conscious life being present to the moment and the people I am with. Life has such beauty in every corner if we take the time to slow down and look around.

What is a fun fact about you?

I completed a multi-week hike to Everest basecamp. It was one of the most profound and challenging experiences of my life to-date.

What can students expect from your class?

I am an adventurous and playful yogi at heart. I bring a sense of creativity and an invitation to connect to joy through movement to my students. My goal as a teacher is to see how I can serve the people who come into the room. I lead with the intention to create a holistic welcoming space for my students to connect to themselves in mind, body, breath, and spirit through movement and stillness. I design my sequences to be both challenging and rejuvenating, balancing that tapas of hard work with the sukha and sweetness of rest after a challenge. I believe we get to know ourselves better through yoga, and in return, it can make us more compassionate and empathetic people in the world.

All levels are welcome.
