My teaching is most influenced by Nicki Doane and Jivamukti Yoga. I have been studying with Nicki Doane since 2009, and completed my first Jivamukti training in 2013.

Credentials Include: Masters of Arts in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University, Jivamukti Yoga 800hr, Maya Yoga 500hr, CorePower Yoga 200hr, ERYT500, Spa Luna Massage School, Institute for Integrative Nutrition, extensive India pilgrimages, world travels to holy spots, and a lifetime of auspicious moments in the presence of many inspired spiritual teachers.

Who/what influences your teaching and practice currently?

In my personal practice, I tune into the moon phase, seasonal shifts, poetry, and spiritual texts to find inspiration. I teach what I practice, bringing where I am and what I am working with in the present moment into my teaching.

How do you apply yoga practice to your every day life?

I fell in love with the journey of a lifelong yoga practice. I see yoga practice in everyday life as the intention of moving from moment to moment with conscious awareness. Moments carry ease, bliss, pain, suffering, and a multitude of other experiences. When I learned to love and accept all of it as a practice and also as a teacher, is when the journey became a life of yoga. It is forever a practice to maintain this mindset but, it is through practice that magic arises.

What is a fun fact about you?

I'm a Pisces, but fire is my element! The art of dancing with fire poi and fans is my favorite way to play with energy.

What can students expect from your class?

I will guide you through a journey of philosophical musings, accessible but strong sequencing, sanskrit chanting, hands on assists, meditation, pranayama, eclectic music, and a sprinkle of mysticism to tap into the energy of the moment.

I teach the ancient philosophies and practices in a modern context, staying close to the classical teachings of the Krishnamacharya lineage, the texts from which Yoga was born, and the teachings of my teachers. My intention is to hold space for you to discover an aligned and inspired way of being through yoga practice.
