Who/what influences your teaching and practice currently?

My practice and teaching have always been influenced by my teacher, Bhavani Maki and her teacher Sri K Pattabhi Jois. I practice & teach vinyasa with longer holds and mindful alignment.

How do you apply yoga practice to your every day life?

Through Marriage + Motherhood.

What is a fun fact about you?

My first concert ever was Queen; I was 11, mom & dad did not have a baby sitter.

I sailed through the equator 3x.

I attended photography school before the digital era ( I was 18 ) and I turned my bedroom into a dark room for an entire year.

What can students expect from your class?

My teaching style is Ashtanga based. I believe in the benefits of holding asanas for 5 breaths or more. I teach simple yet challenging sequencing and I encourage the use of yoga props during my classes.

All levels are welcome.
